About

ChessTropic is an online chess training tool for studying openings, drilling lines on an interactive board, and practising both colours until the moves stick.

Why it exists

Knowing the first few moves is easy. Recalling the next ones under pressure is not. Books and videos help with ideas; they do not ask you to play the move yourself. ChessTropic fills that gap: repeat lines, see the idea behind each move, and come back until the repertoire holds.

It is not a substitute for a coach. It is a focused practice tool for the work that makes openings usable in real games.

What you get
